Tantric Dance stands for something deeper than simply organizing events or activities. It is part of a movement that contributes to a more conscious and connected world. Within our community, the focus is not only just on business or financial gain, but on creating a field where awareness, growth, and connection can flourish.

This document serves as a reminder of the core values that guide Tantric Dance. In different situations we can return to these values as pillars that help orient us and provide direction in how we relate to each other and how we shape this community.

Relationships as a Mirror for Personal Growth

As human beings we constantly encounter others. Some interactions feel easy and flowing, while others can challenge or trigger us.

Within Tantric Dance we see relationships as mirrors for self-inquiry. When we feel triggered or emotionally touched, we invite ourselves to pause and explore what the situation is truly about.

Rather than moving into conflict or hardening, we cultivate an attitude of conscious inquiry. We aim to create a field where mutual respect, openness, and space for different perspectives are central. Differences do not need to be fought. At the same time, we recognize that certain situations require clarity and healthy boundaries.

The Body as an Anchor

Tantric Dance works from a body-oriented approach. We shift the focus from only thinking to also feeling.

The body becomes an anchor point and a gateway to awareness. Through the body we can stay present in the moment and connect directly to our lived experience.

Perhaps life itself can be seen as a form of meditation: a journey meant to be lived rather than merely understood or solved. The body helps us to enter this experience and embody it fully.

A Balance Between “I” and “We”

Modern society often emphasizes the individual. Many people are primarily focused on themselves, and the collective dimension can become secondary.

Within Tantric Dance we encourage a shift from purely “I-thinking” toward also embracing “we-thinking.” This means being willing to ask for support, offer help, seek advice, and uplift each other.

We believe this way of relating creates a win-win environment in which collaboration and mutual support naturally emerge, replacing competition with connection.

Balance Between Head, Heart, and Belly

Tantric Dance stands for a world of balance.

Thinking and information certainly have their place, but they are most valuable when integrated with feeling and intuition. We strive for a balance between the head, the heart, and the belly.

In meetings, gatherings, and decision-making processes, we aim to honor this balance so that both clarity and sensitivity can coexist.

Self-Responsibility

A core value within Tantric Dance is taking responsibility for ourselves.

Instead of pointing fingers or expressing our triggers unconsciously, we encourage a mature attitude of ownership. We ask ourselves what our own role or contribution might be in a situation.

Questions that can guide this process include:

  • What is this situation asking from me?
  • What can I learn here?
  • Where might the “gold” be in this experience?

In this way the focus shifts from victimhood toward growth, awareness, and empowerment.

Life as a Dance

Tantric Dance recognizes that there is no single fixed answer to life.

Life itself is a mystical dance in which every situation asks for a different response. Sometimes this means standing firmly for our values, and at other times it calls for softness and flexibility.

We approach life with an open and exploratory attitude. Curiosity allows us to remain connected to the flow of life, which manifests differently in every moment.

When we are willing to look at our own patterns and clear what blocks us, we can become more open channels through which life itself can move and express.

A Loving and Conscious World

Love is one of the core attitudes within Tantric Dance.

Love does not always mean softness or compliance. Sometimes love asks for honesty, clarity, or the courage to set boundaries.

A guiding question that can help us is: “What would love say or do in this moment?”

This question often opens a path that allows us to move beyond conflict and rigidity, and into more creative and conscious ways of relating.

Space and Respect for Differences

Within Tantric Dance we recognize that differences enrich the world.

We do not all need to think, feel, or perceive things in the same way. Diversity of perspective is valuable and welcome.

The goal is not to determine who is right. A more interesting question is: What does this evoke in me?

This approach creates space for different visions and opinions while helping us remain open and exploratory. In this way we avoid becoming dogmatic or rigid in our thinking.
