Instructions what to do during the workshop
If possible, count the number of men and women in the group and give this number to the Teacher.
Pay attention to those who plan to leave (go to the bathroom) or have difficulty joining the group. Talk to these people and see if you can motivate them to participate. Pass on what you see to the Teacher.
Pay extra attention to people dancing on the floor. Use your own body to keep others from falling over them.
When you dance, make sure that all participants have a partner before you start dancing yourself.
Check this carefully, especially when it is very busy. When you are with several assistants, make sure you do this in consultation with each other.
Bring participants together. When you see that a participant is alone and not actively looking for a partner. Remove a blindfold from a participant when it is necessary to get an equal number of leaders and followers.
When you see someone holding their breath. Stand with this person for a moment and invite him / her to breathe more deeply by audibly breathing themselves.
When you see that people are in pain, have difficulty with something, do not like something or when you see that something transgressive is happening to you, pass this on to the Teacher immediately. Do not get involved in the situation.
When you see someone getting emotional, do not intervene, but make sure you inform the Teacher here too. Make sure this person stays in the group and has enough space to express themselves.
Look at those who have difficulty dancing, invite them and see if you can help them relax more deeply during the dance.
While dancing, try to talk as little as possible and make clear what you mean with gestures as much as possible.
